H_O_O_K_W_O_O_D™

When our client approached us, they had already identified the problem and the opportunity. We were asked to find a solution

The client identified that modern life means we have lots of consumer electronic devices. Often these dives are situated close to each other and a single power outlet. The resultant tangle of unidentifiable mess of cables can result in pulling the wrong plug when needing spare capacity. This can be very damaging to the expensive equipment

Our solution was a simple clear plastic window arranged with an internal marker label. The clamshell design allows an easy 'snap fit' and grips cable of varying diameters by virtue of its TPE overmould

The aesthetic design encourages users to arrange cabling in a more orderly fashion and make for easy cable identification. The mechanical design layout places all the moulding features in the 'line-of'draw', allowing simple and inexpensive tooling to be utilized, reducing both capital expenditure and on costs
