All-in-1 - Product concept design

We were asked by All-in-1 to come up with an idea for a concept chocolate making toy as an alternative to their own in-house design

The toy required that chocolate be melted at a safe temperature and yet in a reasonable time whilst also maintaining low cost of manufacture and small physical size.

The brief also required that the toy should be easy to use. We developed the concept around the clients existing idea of a jamboree. We sized and styled the hot water tank and chocolate pan to maintain heat, introduced a simple pump to squeeze out the chocolate into a simple mould and set these onto a vibrating table to Seattle the molten chocolate.

We built a proof of concept prototype and tested it, demonstrating the feasibility of the idea. The client went on to develop the product at their in-house facility in Hong Kong. It was nice for us to later be sent a video by the client of the product being used in an advertorial setting and seeing our ideas come to life
